The LLM in International Law is designed for those wishing to specialize in public international law and provides you with the opportunity to study the fundamentals of international law and international relations at an advanced level. The program encourages and supports the development of independent thinking and research skills to prepare students for a career in international law or international organizations. Courses will cover the theoretical basis for the development of international law, as well as explore real-life examples and case studies on how rules and principles are applied in practice. The vast majority of students will have a first degree in law or international relations. Previous knowledge of international law is not a prerequisite, but those unfamiliar with the subject are advised to take Fundamental Issues in International Law as one of their options.
