The exam an applicant must pass to be considered for admission to an undergraduate program is known as the qualifying examination. This could be the 10+2 exam or a test that is recognized by the candidate's board as being comparable to the 10+2 exam, such as the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma, the Cambridge Advanced Level (A Level) certificate, or any other test. It is crucial to remember that additional qualifying requirements may apply to each participating law school, which a candidate must fulfill in order to be given consideration for admission. Before submitting an application for CLAT, candidates are recommended to review the eligibility requirements of the law schools in which they are interested. There are 150 multiple-choice questions in the CLAT exam pattern, and it lasts for two hours. For every right response, you receive one mark; for every wrong response, you lose 0.25 marks. English Language, Current Affairs, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques are the five sections from which exam questions are drawn. Educational Requirements: The applicant must have earned at least 45% in their 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board. Those who take the qualifying exam in the same year are also qualified to apply for CLAT, but they have to show proof of passing the exam when they apply.
